Five-step engagement process

Consultation

A structured, no-charge conversation to understand the business problem, the required outcome, and any constraints. No proposal is written until the objective is clear.

Scope & proposal

A written proposal defines deliverables, timeline, assumptions, dependencies, and fees. For fixed-scope work, the price is confirmed before any code is written.

Contract & kickoff

A signed engagement agreement sets out the team, plan, governance, communication rhythm, and payment schedule. Work begins on an agreed start date.

Agile delivery

Work proceeds in two-week sprints with progress updates, sprint reviews, and written milestone sign-offs. Clients see working software at each review, not just status reports.

Handover & support

At completion, documentation, source code, access credentials, and knowledge are transferred in full. Optional support retainers are available but never required.

Commercial terms

  • Written scope first. No engagement begins without a documented scope and agreed fees.
  • Fixed pricing for defined work. Scoped projects are priced before work starts.
  • Client ownership. Bespoke software is assigned to the client upon final payment, per the engagement agreement.
  • No lock-in. Full code, documentation, and transition support are standard on every build.
  • Transparent billing. Retainer and Team-as-a-Service engagements are invoiced monthly with time records available on request.

  • Documented handover, not verbal knowledge transfer
  • Optional third-party penetration testing coordinated where the client requires it
